Q: When is the show?
A: The 2008 Yard, Garden & Patio Show, presented by ProGrass, takes place Friday-Sunday, February 15-17 at the Oregon Convention Center.
The show will run from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Q: Where does the show take place?
A: The show takes place at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Portland. It's at the convergence of I-5 and I-84 just off the max line! Just look for the distinctive twin glass spires as a guide.

Q: How much is show admission?
A: Tickets are $11 for adults and children under 12 are Free! Tickets will be available (in the upcoming months) for purchase in advance through Safeway TicketsWest locations, online at www.ticketswest.com or on-site at the Oregon Convention Center ticket box office during the show.

Q: What about parking?
A: The Oregon Convention Center includes a two-level parking garage, and the maximum daily rate to park is $8. Enter the garage via First Ave or Lloyd Blvd. The Oregon Convention Center is conveniently located on the Max line!
There are also many convenient parking options available surrounding the facility. The Metro Garage on Grand Avenue and Irving Street as well as the Liberty Centre on Oregon Street and 6th Avenue are two great locations. Click on the map (right) or see our parking page for details.
Q: Can I take public transportation to the show?
A: Yes, you can take TriMet or MAX to the show. MAX will let you off right at the Convention Center's front door, and several TriMet bus routes stop just two blocks away. See our parking page for details.
Q: Do the seminars cost extra?
A: No. Seminars are free! This year's show offers over 60 hours of educational seminars and hands-on demonstrations over its three days. Sessions typically last an hour and run concurrently from morning through evening. For more about our seminars program, see our seminars page.
Q: What can I buy at the garden show?
A: The 2008 Show will feature more than 500 unique exhibits, from nurseries, garden centers and specialty merchants to landscape designers and craftsmen. You can buy plants, garden accents, furniture, landscape supplies, books, yard decor, outdoor living components and much more.
Q: How do I enter contests at the garden show?
A: An exciting part of each Yard, Garden & Patio Show is a chance to win fabulous prizes. Once you arrive to the show you will receive an entry form that you can deposit at any of the conveniently located entry banks. And don't forget our many daily giveaways and gifts you will receive at the show!
Q: Will there be Display gardens at the show?
A: Absolutely! This year's show includes ten fabulous feature gardens plus many vignette gardens. These gardens are built by local landscape and nursery professionals and show off the best in Northwest garden design outdoor living and plant material.
